Current MDWARN Membership


Through the MDWARN website, a member is able to request equipment that they may need in an emergency. ( pumps, generators, Chlorinators, evacuators, etc. )
The MDWARN program provides its member utilities with:

A standard mutual assistance agreement for the sharing emergency resources among members statewide.

A forum for developing and maintaining emergency contacts and relationships.
New ideas from lessons learned in disasters. -
The resources to respond and recover more quickly from a disaster.

A mutual assistance program consistent with statewide mutual aid programs.
The backbone of the MDWARN concept is the Mutual Aid and Assistance Agreement.

Our Purpose
MDWARN, the Maryland Water/Wastewater Response Network, tirelessly works to boost emergency preparedness and response. By fostering collaboration among volunteer water and wastewater agencies, we ensure that both public and private utilities are equipped to handle various emergencies efficiently. Our mutual assistance strategy emphasizes resource sharing and coordinated efforts, aiming to protect public health and safety during natural and human-made events.
